ORÍGENES
DEBUT EP | OUT NOW
Orígenes is an album made up of instrumental compositions, mostly played only with guitar, intimate in nature and greatly influenced by Candombe, Classical Music and Jazz. Their songs are mostly composed at my grandparents’ house in Nueva Helvecia, Uruguay and they are a reflection of my gratitude towards them. In his company I had the privilege of growing and learning a lot, and I still do. They gave me the opportunity to express myself freely, to be real and sincere with all the good and bad that was happening to me in my childhood and adolescence, without judging me, and always receiving me with support and joy. In addition to being thankful, this EP allowed me to be aware of how lucky I was to have them and takes into account that my story of support, respect, affection and endless opportunities is not everyone’s story. That’s why I think it’s okay to call it a real privilege.
